Terms for Ilford

Welcome to Ilford Vehicle Hire Services. These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of our website carhireilford.co.uk and our vehicle rental services. By using our services you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Ilford Rental Agreement

All vehicle rentals with Ilford are subject to a detailed Rental Agreement provided at booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. This agreement contains specific terms, conditions, insurance details, charges, and your responsibilities for the particular rental. If any conflict arises between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

2. Ilford Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Ilford, you must:

• Be at least 21 years old for rentals at Ilford (age limits may differ by vehicle class; additional fees may apply for drivers under 25). Hold a valid, full driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid identification and proof of payment and address, as requested at Ilford rental offices.

3. Ilford Booking and Payment

• You can book via our website, by telephone, or in person at our Ilford branch. A booking deposit may be requested to confirm your reservation. Final payment and the security deposit are usually payable when you collect the vehicle. All prices are shown in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Vehicle Collection and Return in Ilford

• At collection, inspect the vehicle carefully and report any pre-existing damage to Ilford immediately. A vehicle condition report will be prepared and signed by you and an Ilford representative. Return the vehicle in the same condition as when collected, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage found on return will be evaluated and charged to the hirer in accordance with Ilford’s damage policy.

5. Coverage and Liability

• Ilford includes basic third-party insurance with all rentals. Full coverage details and excess amounts are provided in the Rental Agreement. Additional insurance options may be available to reduce your financial liability. Ilford recommends reviewing these carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the excess amount stated in the Rental Agreement.

6. Ilford: Cancellation and Changes

Ilford's cancellation and amendment policies vary by booking type and notice period. Refer to your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for the applicable terms. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in charges.

7. Ilford Restrictions

You must not use the Ilford vehicle for:

• Any illegal purpose or activity involving Ilford vehicles. Racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials. Sub-letting the vehicle to third parties or permitting unauthorized drivers. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Purposes for which the vehicle is not intended...

Violating these restrictions may result in immediate termination of your Ilford rental and the assessment of additional charges.

8. Limitation of Ilford's Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Ilford Vehicle Hire Services is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data, or business, arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the fees paid by you for the relevant booking or service.

9. Ilford Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ilford. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Ilford courts.

10. Changes to Ilford Terms

Ilford may amend these Terms at any time. Amendments take effect immediately upon posting on Ilford's website. Your continued use of Ilford's services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
